Hallo und Grüß Gott, I am a German native from Bavaria, which is a beautiful region in Germany. I am a wife, a mother of an adult daughter who was raised bilingually, and a current full-time graduate student.
My professional journey has been closely connected to teaching and sharing my passion for German culture. For nearly twelve years, I taught German language and cultural adjustment courses to active-duty members, civilian employees, and their families for the U.S. Army.
Before coming to the United States, I worked for several years as a special aide to a teenage boy on the Asperger spectrum at a German Gymnasium.
Since 2021, I have been working as a teacher at the German Texan Heritage Society in San Antonio. I teach students of all ages, from pre-school to adults, for Samstagsschule and during the San Antonio summer camps.
I thoroughly enjoy sharing my love for the German language and culture with my students.
