A German tradition, celebrated and loved by many who grew up with it. Bring your own lanterns or purchase one from us. Watch us read/reenact the story of St. Martin. As the sun goes down, we'll sing songs and walk our lanterns around Wurstfest.

About the event
Please come and parade with us during Wurstfest in New Braunfels.
We'll have plenty of lanterns for sale for your little ones. There will be a little play in German and English to let you know what St. Martin's was all about. Then we'll walk around the grounds of Wurstfest singing "Laterne" songs, accompanied by Alex Meixner, with our lit lanterns. It'll be an "Augenschmaus".
