Mrs. Elizabeth (Liz) Nitschke Hicks is a native Texan, descending from German pioneers of Austin and Travis Counties. Liz has served in several capacities on the Board of Directors for Clayton Library Friends, the largest genealogical group in Texas. She is presently serving as a Director and is the originator of the "Angel" program for Clayton Library. She is a past contributing editor for "Tree Talk" (publication of the Cherokee County TX Genealogy Society).
We accept queries from members and non-members. Replies to queries will be published in the next "Journal". Queries may be sent via e-mail or to her attention at:
